General Announcement:
- An e-mail was sent yesterday about the relaxation of restrictions on the control network.
- From now on, the XO integration meeting series will happen on Monday and Wednesday at 09:30 and Friday at 11:30.
- These meetings serve two purposes: 1.exchange of information for the re-start phase, and 2. Controls issues. 
- This procedure is set to help the re-start of activities coming from the super-restricted operation mode.
- Groups are asked to send by every Friday to controls-integration@xfel.eu a summary of activities to be carried out during the following week regarding the Control 
Network. 
This helps CTRL and XO to prepare and coordinate the full scope of activities while having an overview on actions that require large scale resources.
- For example, groups and staff who move motors have to be cautious, once reduced number of people will have access to debug devices in case they get stuck.
- This process could be reviewed in the course of next weeks. 

CTRL:
- Training for the Notification service: half of the groups have delegate people to attend it. Other groups please do so at the distributed Doodle link.

- Ongoing with preparations for back-up user experiments; A problem with Jungfrau has been communicated.

FXE:
- Problem with Mono last week: positions for the crystals were shifted by 10mm. It is not known if this is a physical or only reading issue.

- Pressurized air by a compressor was moved to another location; the topic was discussed with TS and a big compressor will be installed until May 1st to solve problems.

- Running 2-color PP experiment. When SASE1 changed photon energy the pulse energy of the pump color changed, this is a serious problem for experiment.
- Wiener MPOD power supply does not work properly. We can ramp it up from zero, and ramp it down to zero, but otherwise changing value was not possible. 
Meanwhile the problem solved by itself. Still unclear if it was hardware or control or whatever else.

SXP:

General Announcement:

- Racks for the SXP will be delivered and moved around XHEXP1 in March. The calendar for such activities will appear in the EXFEL infrastructure calendar.

- A. Koch says commissioning of SA3 components and Imagers take place. The Shimadzu camera was tested with beam in SA1 and signal was observed.

- A question arises if SASE3 also operating. A. Galler says there is an effort for commissioning beam transport on SASE3, but focus for operation still remains in SASE1.

XRO:
- XRO has commissioned beam transport in SA3 and in SA1. Overall beam was stable apart of few interruptions. Objectives for the weekend were successfully completed.
- Couple of issues need to be fixed; XRO will request ZZ access in XTD10 together with EEE. Tickets are sent.

- Issues with Laser interlock system and accessing hutches persists, as reported last Wednesday. SPB expects laser safety to be working on that.

- Issues with undulator scans energy: beam instability while scanning - BKR switched OFF feedback which somewhat helped. Pulse energy fluctuates during the scans.

- Minor issues: 1. DAQ aggregator slow again; 2. Saturday the proposal was finished due to issues;

- The Winter maintenance period was adjusted yesterday. The ending period is now on January 13th, 2021, instead of January 4th.

- CTRL is reaching conclusions on recent Beckhoff problems: 
1. CTRL would like to upgrade most of installations in instruments next week (upgrade of motors software). This upgrade is in general a step forward for the PLC 
connections when it is dropped (re-starting). 
2. For SASE installations, CTRL will make next week during machine days. 
3. The GATT will not be upgraded now – this will start during Winter maintenance period. Upgrade of GATT is a priority for CTRL (has been added to the maintenance list 
submitted to XO).

- Yesterday it contacted operators to discuss the RF window for SA1 which was set shorter than the requested.
- No further information on the "ghost" beam last week. It was seen only in the detector placed at the beam when SA2 or SA3 were set to zero bunches.

- Trouble with hexapod during the weekend, which revealed to be broken. It was removed yesterday and is impacting the sample motion. A workaround is being put in place.
- New monitoring for Agipd gets stuck with calibration. DA is looking into it.

- Last week issue with Oracle database upgrade was fixed by effort during the night. People entered tunnel by ZZ after this communication issue was fixed.

- It is planned to happen a Data loggers update today. 
- Time server update: related to a bug which happened twice in five years. It will be carried out today afternoon (after XPD beamtime) or tomorrow morning.
- A. Galler asks on updates on pulse pattern decoder: Steffen H. says it is ready to be deployed and tested.

DA:
- DA received only one OCD call last week: no specific issues during the week.

EEE:
- XO informs that the ATT interlock PLC update will be done tomorrow (22.09) morning.

VAC:
- OCD call on Friday from MID related to the cryocooler of monochromator: it was clear issue was related to the power supply. TS was involved to solve the problem by 
exchanging cryocooler. 
VAC informs the OCD number to be dialed is 9-4900 and not 4900.

XPD:
- It was observed problems with SA2/XGM spinning motor gauges.

ITDM: 
- There is a problem with SASE2 online data storage. It happens data were not migrated from Schenefeld to Desy or it was very slow which in turn affected MID. Partially 
solved by making system live. 
- ITDM needs to diagnose the GPFS filesystem in SASE2 in order to understand the issues we experienced over the weekend. This may lead to some instabilities or even 
unavailability of the SASE2 online data storage. 
- XO suggests ITDM to coordinate separately with MID and HED.

XRO:

LAS:
- SA3 had power drops and today LAS makes tests regarding Daniel Rivas info.
- SA1 currently replacing laser diode and updating uTCA system.
- SA2 nothing to report.

UNSYS:
- Terminals for SA2/cell31 have arrived and are ready to be installed in next ZZ access.
- Problem with air coil in SA3/cell12 this morning will be taken care.

SPB:
- Commissioning last week using 5 keV beam.

- Mono commissioning.

MID:
- Recovered vacuum issue on cryocooler on SAT morning with help from TS. Beam was back on Saturday morning (+-10AM).
- Timing tests were running on Friday by EEE. MID waits for results to be analyzed. Train-ID issue seems to be progressing and many people work on it.

HED:
- User beamtime was very successful. Stability was very good.
- Pulse on demand test aimed to be able to have single PP shot synchronized with FEL. Today from 10AM CTRL and LAS will temporarily change bunch pattern (communicated to 
the PRC). 
No need for X-ray beam to the hutch.

SCS:
- No special issues to report.

SQS:
- Two weeks ago the monochromator was used. X-ray beam was twinkling and not reproducible. Seems to be connected to higher heat load when using 300 pulses.

- XO would like to remind instruments that in case it is planned to use beam after 23:00, please put this information in the delivery table for that all involved parts are aware of it.

- CTRL has prepared the fix for the new Camera and would like to apply it. Instruments are in process to be contacted to arrange the best suitable time (10min downtime).

DA:
- MID observed incompatibility in Karabo bridge and framework. Two fixes can be done and will be arranged with instrument contacts. Upgrade of Karabo bridge must be less invasive. 
Steffen H. adds that on MID the hot fix did not make the expected result, so the less invasive is better option.

EEE:

VAC:

- Tobias Clever informs on the UPS repair for SA2 and SA3 areas in the XHEXP1. A new date has to be tentatively arranged.

- Please note the PRC scheduled will be restarted on July 14th only.

- Ramp down went well: reminder it is dedicated to ramp down (machine activities interrupted a bit) is a matter of communication to be reinforced.

XO has no info on specific tests for emergency buttons and understands power will be bridged as it was done in the past. XO will confirm with Wolfgang C. / D3.
- From Wednesday of this week tunnels will be closed. If a task is pending, please contact XO.
- Jan G. asks if uTCA maintenance in tunnels are finished. Bruno F. says that tunnels are completed.
- Sunday morning 7:30AM there was a warning on the power stations but no systems faced power outage as much as it was reported. Please check your devices and systems for 
potential power failures yesterday.

CTRL:
- Control monitors update happening this week.
- Today CTRL needs exclusive SA3 access to motion loops for middle layer devices updates.
- Cameras with Clone work in the Lima version: intervention for these cameras between today and tomorrow.
- Influx logging system: CTRL asks XPD that there are messages being received frequently from the PES and needs to switch it OFF for a while.

- Quad mover sudden move: Lars F. from MXL does not have records on the command given for the sudden move and therefore the root cause can't be traced.

Nerea J. says a ticket was received and the interlock issue was related to a Imager that always come up activated. This will be removed from the EPS.

- Alberto deFanis says that colleagues from SQS prefer to do in a week without users. Steffen H. says that this is fine to do later. The tunnel devices have to be coordinated with SCS also. 
SQS will coordinate to a proposed date and inform CTRL.

VAC:
- Issue with ion pump in rack 3.1 taking down SA1 and SA3 beam: ZZ by VAC/OCD and PRC to exchange controller yesterday. Another ZZ will take place this morning. 
Downtime for the entire North Branch could be minimized (if V0 is closed, then at least SA1 could be running. Martin D. will look into optimizing the procedure).

XPD:
- Naresh K. as PRC says on the pump failure on Sunday. Downtime was longer for SA1 as machine could not decouple both SA1 and SA3.
- Naresh K. says the access the access ZZ is not so quick as it was done in dump area and machine has to ground magnets and power up again after the ZZ, making it take longer time (not only ZZ time).
- SCS turbo pump fail and the experiment stopped on Sunday around 15:30.
