I have read and accept the Scientific Data Policy of European X‑Ray Free‑Electron Laser Facility GmbH ("Scientific Data Policy").
I expressly confirm that I am aware of the fact that scientific data will be made available by European X-Ray Free-Electron Laser Facility GmbH in accordance with the Scientific Data Policy. Any raw data and associated metadata will therefore be made available as open access after the agreed embargo period, any calibration data and alignment data will be made available as open access immediately without an embargo period.
Acceptance of this Scientific Data Policy is a condition for the award of beamtime. For details regarding publication of data please note in particular clause 4.1.1 (access to raw data and associated metadata), and clause 5.3.1 (access to results) of this policy. For details regarding the collection and processing of personal data in connection with UPEX the UPEX Privacy Policy applies. For details regarding the collection and processing of personal data in connection with the use of the European XFEL Facility the data handling provisions of the Terms and Conditions for the non-proprietary user access to the European XFEL Facility (currently in preparation) apply.
Unless otherwise stated in the Scientific Data Policy, the scientific data will be stored as described in the Data retention policy.
I consent to the processing of my personal data (first and last name, name and address of the institute I am currently working for, gender, birth date, birth place including country, nationality) by the European XFEL GmbH for the purpose of matching these with embargo lists. I may withdraw my consent at any time for the future. I am aware that without my consent, I will not be able to register for UPEX and submit a proposal or participate in an experiment at the European XFEL.
