General Announcement:
- As PRC Jan G. reports that:
1. ZZ access to XTD10 was planned and started around 9AM today to work on the exit slit. Plan is to finish by 12:30;
2. Machine worked nicely during the weekend (only 1 downtime due to cryo OK for around 1 hour);
3. on FRI afternoon MID close the pre-absorber and background signal was seen in the AGIPD - it was clarified by PRC and XRO that the pre-shutter does not provide a full stop for beam, just protecting
electronics from intense beam.
CTRL:
- It has split the watchdog devices (imagers) to two servers and performance was seen to be stable.
DA:
- FXE mini-LPD issues during commissioning are being addressed.
EEE:
- Nothing to report.
VAC:
- Nothing to report.
XPD:
- Nothing to report.
DET:
- MID during the weekend reported issues with AGIPD data: two modules were missing. A DOC expert was on shift but further investigation is still needed; MID continued to work without the modules.
ITDM:
- Issue with performance of online data storage at MID: if AGIPD is set in full speed mode during several hours the cache gets full and needs a break.
This happened yesterday and by 6PM MID decided to stop for 3 hs until cache was emptied (reason for such long time was sample related; cache can be emptied faster).
To be in safe side is better to stay with cache filled by 50%. A new system from IBM with double performance is ordered and shall be available during the summer.
XRO:
- ZZ is ongoing for the Exit slit.
LAS:
- Issues with the Sync in SA1 and SA2 which are addressed by Desy group LabSync; On THU and FRI instabilities were observed by LAS.
- Called by FXE during the weekend which will be investigated.
UNSYS:
- Nothing to report.
SPB:
- Night shifts at 12.4keV last week went fine.
FXE:
- Not present.
MID:
- Two MID related issues were already addressed (see above).
HED:
- Nothing to report.
SCS:
- Loss of optical sync: Laurent M. says that 12hs were lost last week. SCS is discussing with CTRL to copy the alarm system from SPB/SFX. Wajid E. adds that the logic has to be checked (properties) and
then implemented.
SQS:
- Beam will start with SQS and not with SXP on Tuesday.
SXP:
- Not taking beam tomorrow as the KB system arrives and needs to be brought to the hutch. |
