General Announcement:
- Next Wednesday the kick off presentation for the summer maintenance plan will take place at the XO Integration meeting done by Martin Doering. Please invite colleagues from your groups who may be
interested.
CTRL:
- OCD call on Saturday due to a network failure (broken switch) that affected SA2. It was solved by DOC and OCDs.
DA:
- The online cluster was disconnected on the weekend and had to be restarted.
EEE:
- Nothing to report.
VAC:
- Nothing to report.
XPD:
- On Saturday BKR and XPD noticed an indicator of SA2/XGM giving a warning. XGM was checked and was operating fine. The gas type information on DOOCS was not being received and a ticket to DOOCS/DESY was
made.
- As PRC Naresh K. said a major failure could cause that signals from SA2 were not sent to DOOCS and DOC was informed on this particular issue with XGM.
- Steffen H. says a procedure to reach DOOCS people shall be made together with a list of devices that send signals from Karabo to DOOCS. Karabo was not the cause of the XGM problem and DOC had no means to
help on this.
DET:
- Nothing to report.
ITDM:
- Switch for brokers in SA2, located at Balcony room, was broken on Saturday morning causing the network problem. The spare part was exchanged and configured by Desy colleagues. After the exchange CTRL and
DOC recovered from Karabo side.
XRO:
- Nothing to report.
LAS:
- Affected by switch issue in SA2 on Saturday. The Nagios is still offline and CTRL is informed and working on it.
UNSYS:
- Nothing to report.
SPB:
- Yesterday a small issue with AGIPD data happened and the detector had to be power cycled. Reason for it is not yet understood
- User run with 8keV to 9keV was affecting SQS beam. A decision was reached which included coordinating SQS on every photon energy change.
FXE:
- Nothing to report.
MID:
- Nothing to report.
HED:
- Beamtime: many devices had to be restarted on Saturday after the network switch failure and about 24hs of operation was lost until all systems were working back again.
SCS:
- Nothing to report.
SQS:
- Nothing to report.
SXP:
- Nothing to report. |
