General Announcement:
- As PRC, F. Wolff-Fabris says operation during the weekend was not optimal:
1. on Friday evening the A6 started to trip several times; we first decreased the gradient in the same fashion as done on Wednesday morning but it did not help; On Saturday the A6 was removed entirely from
operation after lunch time.
2. On Sunday 9PM a PLC for the Dump/TLD stopped work and experts from Desy came to exchange it. Beam was recovered around 1:30AM.
- Today, Monday, machine is being changed to 16.3GeV. Currently we expect beam delivery to start tomorrow at 7AM.
- Martin Doering presents a summary of major tasks planned for the winter maintenance period regarding e.g. limited access to the campus; timing issues; IT systems; gas supplies; media maintenance; cooling
water; elevator; etc...
