General Announcement:
- Another cryo failure happened yesterday night due to an overpressure. Expected cryo OK shall be around 10AM. Plan to tune today holds.
- Steffen H. reminds that instruments shall participate in the Jour-fixe today at 13:00.
CTRL:
- Nothing to report.
DA:
- Announcement from the calibration team: offline calibration will have a deploy today – minor intervention – to correct e.g. bug fixes
EEE:
- SA3 PPL has a card that behaves not normally. Needs an access and is been repaired right now.
- Pouhneh S. says that Saturday reason maybe be related to laser interlock. The whole SA3 went down. Lasermet was onsite and a wire was shorted circuit. Needs to look closely if it was interlock .
It acted as if the emergency OFF was pressed. Zunaira A. says that this happened also in SA2 time ago: AMPHOS shutter has a sub-D connector and when this connects the fuse blows and power went down; LAS
and Klaus Witt solved at the time and reason shall be related to the AMPHOS shutter.
K. Wrona says as DRC he has got a call informing the power glitch. This morning the network switches in the room are still not functioning. Please call DRC using DOC number when power goes down.
VAC:
- Nothing to report.
XPD:
- Nothing to report.
- On the power glitch of SA3: only SQS and SCS hutch devices were affected by the power glitch due to the short circuit on the interlock/PPL.
- Switch to the 18keV in SA2 went smooth on Saturday.
DET:
- AGIPD in SPB showed radiation damage. On May 7th the detector was exposed to high radiation and investigation still ongoing.
About 10% of pixels are damaged and need full characterization to find if still usable for users.
ITDM:
- Nothing to report.
XRO:
- Last week on Friday: moved Mirrors M1 and M2 of SA2. Mirror positions seem to be in the right positions.
When beam is handled over to MID the XRO group has to check alignment and it is already agreed with MID. Currently beam is in the Platinum stripe.
LAS:
- Power outage in SA3: seeder is back but interlock does not allow seeder shutter open (card to be changed). Many troubles with devices in the network.
UNSYS:
- ZZ for SA2/cell#2 to fix a problem.
SPB:
- Interesting program last week with stability investigation and beam usage on the weekend.
FXE:
- Got support from Data calibration: thanks!
MID:
- All fine at MID.
- Ulrike B. comments on the Karabo broker pile up over Easter: noticed now that there is a mismatch between what is written and triggered.
Wajid E. says that will contact offline to MID to further understand. It is corrected as of now. Bruno F. says that there is a ticket ongoing (wrong timer connection affecting the configuration location).
HED:
- Nothing to report.
- Long pulse train tests were successful and shall be used on cw22 - a meeting takes place with BKR today.
SCS:
- No full power outage in SCS hutch (beamline was checked and seem to be fine). XGM did not get interrupted.
SQS:
- Suffer from laser interlock during the weekend – could not take PP laser. Got a damaged scroll pump. |
