On exflutca 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 I put in the line:

/dev/sda -a -o on -S on -s (S/../.././03|L/../../6/03) -m root -M exec /usr/share/smartmontools/smartd-runner

to /etc/smartd.conf and started the smartd server.

and coment out the line:  start_smartd=yes

in: /etc/defaults/smartmontools
